- My father is currently trying out AOL, and from what I've seen so far,
- the lamest thing about it is the chat system. It's so obsolete I have
- to turn my head. So this got me thinking, is it any different from
- the chat system that Q-Link had?
-
- A quick rundown: There are a lot of rooms for discussing a fixed set
- of topics, the most-used topic being 'Lobby'. Rooms hold up to ~15
- users, then another room on that topic gets created. All
- communication is in lines of text.
-
- I'd appreciate hearing from any former Q-Link user. If you're on AOL,
- please send e-mail rather than posting, because I won't see your post.
